That’s cool mate, I thought you knew this.

With the ph. You want it to be 5.8 in coco/ hydro.

This is to make sure the plant can eat all of the available nuits. If the ph is too high or low, the plants will no be able to eat the foods it needs, and you’ll get deficiency, even though there is plenty of food on the medium.

Mix up all of you feed, then ph last, so it is at 5.8-6.0

If you haven’t been doing that, the ph of the medium is going to be off, and the plant won’t eat right. So to fix it, we need to flush them, with just water, ph at 5.8. About ten litres each should be enough. Once you’ve done that, and got all the run off up, feed them with your usual EC, ( it was 0.8 right?) and ph of 5.8.

This will balance things out again and get the medium to the correct ph for better nutrient absorption.

I’m no sure what you have studied so far, and what you know mate. So if you have any questions at all, or are unsure about anything, give me a shout so I can explain it to you.

Not sure if I’ve got this right.....
You want me to PH 10l of water to 5.8.
Then do I pour all that water onto my plant all at once to flush it?
    OR
I still have a litre of water mixed with nutrient from 6 days ago..... can I jus PH that down to 5.8 n EC 0.8 n water as normal?

I’m going get my feed ready today.
Do I ph down my water to 5.8 first before I add my nutrients?

Remember I’m all new to this... pretty much need a step by step guide.

Ok mate, water again today, coco has good drainage, so watering even twice a day isnt really a problem if you wanted too.

Ph last. So get your water. Add your nuits, then check the ph. If it isn’t between 5.8 and 6.0 you’ll need to adjust it with some ph up or down, until it’s at that level. Then water your plants and get plenty of run off.

For the flush, you just don’t add any nuits at all, and adjust the ph still, to 5.8- 6.0

You have ph up and down right?

It’s best to always have food in your medium on coco mate, unless it’s the last two weeks of the grow when you’re on last flush.

Flush first with just the plain ph’d water. This will balance everything out, and get the old food out of the medium. Then, after the flush is finished, feed them, ec 0.8, and ph 5.8, this will put some fresh good food in the medium for them, and the ph will be perfect. With a nice clean fresh medium for them, they’ll be happy and fly off mate. It’s all about keeping that medium balanced.
