Clones or cuttings in general if from a good source surely cuts down the time of the grow significantly or am I missing something ?

The thing you are missing is that in the last 9 year, I have grown 5 photoperiods... 3 of them at the same time but have grown literally hundreds of autos

As far as I can figure things out with photoperiods is that clones are great for growing & seeds are great for finding mother plants (or for strains that you can't get cuts for)

yeah,each to their imo,im sure some prefer it,i dont as last time i did it i harvested,black rose auto, less than if id have left it.i get normally 60g colas off dwarf autos,sometimes more plus about 20-40g off the sattellites/chandeliers(whatever the lower arms are called) so i dont bother redesigning nature for autos.

if youve only got 2-3 weeks of true veg and then its autoflowering then youll just harvest less far as i can see as the lst will still be sorting itself out,dont forget the flowering is also automatic/a fixed period.
more bud sites doesnt equal more bud ,if theyre all little buds then they all weigh a lot less

my personal quoted weights are after 2-4weeks curing in jar weights,not freshly cut or vaguely dried.

best way is to try it,part of the fun is experimenting and everything is dependant on your personal circumstances etc and skill,me im a fick cnut so struggle with everything no skill here,im only good at going round bends at very high speeds on two wheels,im shit at everything else .

C4 - top
C4 - lst
WW - just leave it grow
Autopilot XXL - leave it grow

That way I can experience lst and topping plus still have 2 au natural crops. Also trying with the C4's as I still have another 2 in the fridge.

nice list,mind id have heldback the autopilot and WW and used the other c4,so you could get a full result of how the topping and lst affects the same strain against the au naturel same strains.
using different strains will mess up most experiments as theres no base line,all strains are likely a bit different in their ways,even different seed batches of same strains often grow differently ive found.

A good question! I know that there are many old gits, such as myself & bud but there seems to be as many youngsters as old uns... but, to average things out, I would say the mean age is in the 30's somewhere...
