Default Does Badger go down the auto path

    Evening tokers.

Any of you that have been following my diaries in the past will know that I'm a photo DWC grower.

I'm thinking of running some autos next just for a quick turn around and to vary the smoke that I've got. I've just chopped 5 Exo cheese girls and it's the 3rd time on the bounce that I've ran them.

I've been looking at the Memphisto Sour Livers and I'm liking the look of them, obviously I know I won't get the yield but the turn around time is what's appealing to me.

Just a bit dubious about changing what I know, so was after some pointers on the auto front.

Good choice badger. These are big plants in hydro and may take 14 weeks to finish. As for the yield you’ll be very surprised

Top Smoke, super stinky and full of resin

14 weeks has to be better than 2 weeks to root cuttings, another week or 2 to get roots into the res, 6 weeks veg, 2 weeks flip then 10 weeks flower.

Is it best to just let autos do what they wanna do or train them?

Mephisto say the hydro grown plants tend to take longer but the size and returns are worth while. Definitely top and train them mate as you would a photoperiod.

This Livers Auto tends to differ from others as you get a longer veg period. I’ve found 2 pheno types a shorter stocky plant and then there’s the extremely large one with buds the size of your arms

Just top once and a bit of lst? I'm open to other genetics and strains but I've heard good things about the Memphisto that's all.

Without blowing too much smoke up mephistos arse I haven’t had a photoperiod match the quality of there autos ever. That includes the true Exo cut

Top once and Lst plus some supercropping. There’s no need to go easy on them there hardy plants

Bare in mind these were in dirt so I presume the hydro plants maybe twice the size.

I consider my a crap inexperience grower despite dabbling half a dozen times over a decade. I managed this, this year, despite nearly drowning it for a week while I went abroad, and snapped a fe branches omg the way, I know my feeding ain't spot on and I have no green house.

What an experienced grower could do in hydro/plant with autos will certainly treble the 1oz I will get....

400w mh/hps, Total yield was around 14 oz plus popcorn on top. I lost a lot to rot aswell as the buds are very dense and the space was only 80x80. I dare say I could have quite easily done 17-18 had it been successful... I underestimated the sheer size of this phenotype and got lucky having 4 off the same.
