Default Drying weed before curing help

Another question lol. I chopped my plants down three days ago hung the buds in a mesh hanger in my tent.
Left a dehumidifier running set at 50 and a fan blowing low for circulation.
The buds seem like they already dry now and snap the storks and feel crusty. Hay smell too them.
Should I out em in jars too cure now. I bought some of them 62% humidity sachets too put in the jars . But three days seems very short for drying.

3 days does seem short. Mine took 6. I think 5-10 is normal. But if the stalks are snapping cleanly and the bud feels dry, i suppose its ok. Just make sure to burb the jars regularly. I'm sure someone with a lot more experience will be along to give a better answer

Yeah i would say thats a fair description. Starting to crisp up on the outside, stick it in the jars and open for 30mins/ 1 hour each day for a week. That is how i am doing it anyway.

I like to use a miniature humidity guage. I jar the bud without the packet and watch the humidity. If it raises above 60% I burp the jar. If it settles in at lower than 60% I add the packet. I only burp if it goes back over 60%. The humidipak will not stop bud from rotting if it is too wet. Sometimes it can be very dry on the outside and overtime in the jars the humidity redistributes and is higher that expected or wanted.

3 days ain't enough time imo brother but a lot depends on bud size, if they decent size buds they more than likely still got a lot of moisture in the center, i did exactly the same during one drying i had my 20 litre dehumidifier running at 50% but most of the bigger dehumidifiers blow out warm air in an upward direction after 2 or 3 days my buds were dry and crispy so i jarred them up with a mini hygrometer and after a day or two the Rh went right up into the high 70%s so i had to put them into thick brown paper bags in my closet for a few days along with the hygrometers to get the Rh back down to 62% then jarred up and continued with the curing process, turned out to be a cracking smoke in the end, keep a keen eye on them brother, all the best, G'.

It will be the dehumidifiers hot air. I had same problem buds crispy in 2 days but just a hay smell. Couple of week curing turned shitty weed pukka !!
Maybe only have it come on in intervals
