Newbie R-DWC Challenge

Hi Everyone,

I have been lurking around the forum reacquainting myself with techniques and building my knowledge up as I delve into a grow after many years. I want to try DWC and am currently looking at the Rush R-DWC system (4 pot) in a 2.4x2.4x2m tent. I intend to use 4 x 600w HPS lights and all the other usual kit. I have some seeds but they are very old and am just trying to germinate them for a test grow. Trying to find a good local source of seeds is my next challenge. Anyway, I am here now and love the forum.

1 x 600w lamp per plant in that tent is gonna be a bastard to control the heat but be awesome if you pull it off...

I agree, that is my challenge. Fortunately it will be located in a very cool area but it will definitely be a challenge

Thanks. The heat is worrying me a little although I have space within the location of the tent to open it up if it gets too warm. I am trying to aim for the sweet spot of max watts = flavour, yield and size.

Just in the process of getting my new kit together and now considering a self-build Rush-like system. Once I am up and running I will begin the diary! Thanks for the good wishes

the rush system isn't great. You would be better off building your own.
It will also save you much ££££££££££££££££.

oh and 4 open 600s in a 2.4 square tent are an absolute nightare to cool. Ive done it. I ended up air cooling 2 of them and still needed a 8 inchfan/ filter plus a 6 inch fan and filter in there.
