    spotty leaf possible bug/Water/NutrientSplash damage

I’d guess thrips are the bug, sound like what I’m suffering with.

If you got thrips you should put some yellow sticky paper over the soil. Keeps the larve from dropping into your soil and eating the roots.

yellow sticky paper - paper around the soil covered in sellotape? Fly trap tape?

Called yellow sticky traps. You lay these over the soil and shake the plant a few times a day. Instead of falling into the soil to do more damage they get caught in the glue.

I always keep a few in the groom even when I am bug free. Many bugs are attracted to the yellow color. It is a good way to be sure the room is bug free or catch a problem early.

Still healthy, not so sure. Ever since i watered from the top and watered bottom in the tray yellowing started. Neat water just from the tap, not pH'd but in hard water area kettle caked in scale.

Not sure how long these have 2-3 weeks
