Default Moisture trap - Safe to use

    Hi guys and gals

Just wanted to double check those moisture traps (mini dehumidifiers) are safe to use towards the end of flowering? RH is 50-60% atm

I know not to get the scented ones but couldnt really get anymore details from the packaging. Said to avoid contact with food 🤔

i agree they will work but will be useless in a growing setup , Much better IMHO with a 10l dehumidifier

The groom is 50x60x160cm. 4inch RVK which is rated about 200CFM.

Someone told me to put rice and salt in there but i aint that silly. Or maybe i am 😁

Yeah you can put a plate of salt in your grow room but like those moisture packs at top it's pretty useless and dropping just a few points of humidity and not worth the effort, get a dehumidifier or an oil radiator as these two are the only things that actually work to get your humidity in check

    Just checked the groom. RH49%

Should it be concerned the RH is creeping up to 60% lights off? Im only 10-14 days from harvest.

As long as the air circulation and extraction is good, you should be ok but keep an eye on. I have 55% lights off and no issues

That moisture trap is just a bag of silica gel crystals (same thing as little bags in electronic items), won't do any harm but as said, wont do much good either.
