    Somehow ammonia has been listed as food safe. They wash most meat in it....Chicken breasts, pork etc. All washed in ammonia. Yum

    If it doesn't dissipate from evaporation..I'm not sure if boiling would do it. Boiling is basically evaporation , but fast right? Unless you distilled it maybe..

    Chloramine is not nearly as nasty as the source of flouride they use

    It does evaporate I believe, just not as quickly as straight chlorine. My ex-Mrs has a Chemistry PhD but I can't remember much of it haha. A quick google suggests it will boil off.

    for 5 plants 500-750ml each, not strict, if the leaves say they want more i give em more...schedule is day 1)water only, day 2) water and nutrients, day 3) dry day... then repeat.

    So I'm just thinking out loud here because I've been wondering how I will handle the same question. My current setup is a 4x4 and a 5x5 tent (both MH/HPS) located in my shop. The shop is a stand alone building with no water supply. I live in the northern half of the US so it's too cold three seasons of the year. Currently (in the summer) I run a hose close to the shop door, mix outside 5 gallons at a time with two buckets warming with airstones bubbling in the wings. We have a well with great water but of course it comes out from 500 feet down at 56d F and I always like to gas it off (old fish keeping habits).

    I was thinking I could use a 55 gallon drum and fill it with water with the hose (then put the hose away to keep it from freezing) and keep it in the shop (at room temp), then fill the 5 gallon bucket and mix 5 gallons at a time for feeding like I currently do. I use about 10+ gallons of water a day, half with feed of some type (bloom or veg).

    if anybody has a better idea, I'd love to hear it.

    Hey guys I have soft water with no fluoride apparently? Also no mention of chloramine ? How does having soft water effect growing ?

    Less trace minerals in there so you have to add them - cal mag usually

    Good news you don't have fluoride too, me neither
