It's perfectly normal to get a growth spurt now. It's the plants last gasp chance to pollinate. It throws out more hair to catch the pollen. If anything it's a sign your very close to harvest.

If you are in the USA you can get it at most Public Food stores. You can order it online also. Or you can get you a co2 and make some.
