Mine came with a big hole in it. It is 11 degrees cooler than my other Hood, which now has one hole in it also. But it only went down 1 degree, but that is in my 3'x3'x6' tent. It would be cooler in my 4'x4'x6.6' tent. I think I might drill another hole to see if it might come down another degree.
