    Default Decarboxylator recommendations

    Hi guys,

Looking for recommendations for automatic decarboxylators please. Oven is fine for now but I want better control over the process. If I have to get it in from the US, so be it.

    Help me out please!

I've only done it in the oven before, 10 minutes at 115°c to 117°c

Yeah I usually do it 30 minutes at 115 C. Ironman sent me a handy chart with the temps that create certain reactions in the cannabanoids. Here it is...

I'm lazy and would prefer an automatic decarber especially to isolate the smell. Trim decarb in the oven made me nauseous last time haha

Bomber had this thing called the Ardent decarboxylator. Have a look under the Medical section.

I second what Benson is saying about smell reduction.

    Hello everyone.

I'm a long time member but have been absent for a good while due to a divorce and ill health unfortunately, due to the aforementioned ill health I can no longer smoke my weed.
So I'm going the edibles route but the more I read, the more confused I become because there are so many conflicting answers to any particular question.
My question is "After decarboxylation do I still have to cook my weed in something like space cakes or can I just sprinkle it like a regular herb into whatever I like (Spag Bol, etc)
Any advice would be really really appreciated.

Hi mate, welcome back to the Talk.

Sorry to hear about the health issues.

Short answer is once you've decarbed it, the THC is active so you can sprinkle it in a yoghurt or whatever and you're good to go.

    Happy munching 😃
