Suppose to be a 600W digital Ballast?

Has any one ever seem a ballast like this? I hope this is something new. It doesn't have any nob on it to turn it up or down, and it doesn't have any fan that I can see, just a solid block of aluminum. What are yall's thoughts on this? Well it must be something new on the market, I have had it plug in for 1/2 hour now, and hardly even warm, about the same as my 250W and 400W Digital ballast. Now I got all 3 ballast, all I need is a 1000W one, and I will have a full set. I got it running at 79 degrees with lights on.

I guess no one would buy it, if they didn't say it was a digital ballast, they would think that it was an old one. I use to have a 400W ballast, and it pull more than 50W and was hot to the touch,and had a fan. This one has been on over 35 minutes, and hardly warm at all, and only pulling 26.8W. So it is a keeper, I guess I answer all my question. Thanks. hotshot

Probbly a newer type of mag ballst hotshot . Not too sure though buddy . Give me a brand and model number and ill check the specs for ya

Boy, do I fell dumb. I just read the direction, and it is a Digital Ballast, it has a smart chip, and it detected what ever bulb you put in it 600W or under. It does ever thing for you, don't have to turn no buttons. lol Those days, when teck has gotten way ahead of me. No fans, buttons just does the job for you.
