You could be forgiven since the "mains blue" and "mains brown" wiring colours are rather unfortunate in this case.

In terms of safety, on the Meanwell HLG series the output is isolated from the input so there is nothing relative to earth( or ground depending where you are). Basically there is no current path between the driver output, the lighting boards, YOU and earth.

I wouldn't recommend holding the driver output + and - since 50v is not exactly low voltage.

The drivers are also a perfect grow room selection since

    They can handle 95% humidity
    They have over temperature protection
    They have short circuit protection

Just take care when handling the wiring to the driver input, as you would anyway 👍

You can get cobs and pcb with direct main connections......widow makers of course 👎

Yeah I was looking at the blue and brown and thinking that it was 240v AC running up there.

Some of the leds we use in the aquarium side have the drivers up in the lights so hopefully you get where I'm coming from.

    Safety first and all that.

Hi are you able to offer the product pre assembled, ready to plug and go? I ask because I’ve found the same hardware at the same price, if not tad cheaper elsewhere but pre assembled already within the UK and as someone who’s completely inexperienced I would much rather go down this route ☺️

I’m looking to create my first growing setup and rather than go fOr a standard LED, I’m interesting to try this quantum board tech. Although a fair bit pricier it seems everywhere I read people are more interested in upgrading to this tech from standard vipar and meizhi boards etc. I’ll have a 100cm x 100cm x 200cm grow tent with 1 photo plant and believe the 250w board will do the job nicely!!

If you have found the same hardware at a cheaper price, go buy it..... but, somehow, I think, when you take a second look, there will be compromises made...

I am thinking of picking up the 60w QB to use with my MIGRO 100. The space is 75x50 so will give me a decent PAR all over. Diary is incoming shortly. Hopefully do the LEDs some justice
