Default Is this light suitable for my first grow?

    Aiming to start with 1 plant. Possibly 2. In either a 120 x 120 x 200cm tent or an 80 x 80 x 160cm tent.

KINGBO Dual Optical Lens-Series 900W LED Grow Light Full Spectrum for Indoor Plants VEG and Flower(2 Switches, 12-Bands

On Amazon for £220 with decent reviews. Reason I like it is it has a switch for veg and flowering. So can be lessened to start with. Thank you all for input

Why not have a chat with our new LED sponsor Invisible Sun? You'll find them here

Not sure about any equipment on their site haha. Thank you though. May reach out to them if no further advice on my current thoughts

    Swerve it. They're old tech.
If that's your budget, I'd rather look at Mars Hydro or building your own quantum board.

Nah! Seriously! This will be one of the best chances you ever have to discuss things with a LED seller! I'm not saying that they may say what you want to hear... but it's a good time to find out about things

Don’t want to get too technical with building. Mars hydro 600w seems like it may be a good option!

ViparSpectra and Meizhi are worth a look too.

I'd really listen to what M_C is saying though. Even if the stuff on the Invisible Sun site doesn't make sense to you at first sight, it's the latest tech and they have a rep on the forum now.

    Here's their intro thread: https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url...2&share_type=t

Ask Invisible_Sun_Led_UK about their kits. It's plug n play practically. Definitely worth finding out about.

Agree here. If you buy the older style, Mars or Viparspectra, you will need roughly twice the watts of something like a quantum board

I’ll give them a shout. Curious about what the difference between 2500k 3000k 3500k is etc even when listed as the same watt and price. Seem quite expensive compared to LED even and would assume I’ll need a dimmer of sorts to use for veg and flower.
