THANK YOU!!!! I was getting discouraged, but this has been really helpful.
I've got two plants under that light. Guess I should add another?

new soil would have nutes in it already, adding more nutes would defo burn her, you also mentioned you keep your door closed when lights on, without an extractor fan a normal fan is no good if there is no fresh air coming in and old air and condensation escaping, will have a bunch of problems plus it will get too hot for them

I really wouldn't buy another of those lights. You can do so much better.
Look for an "Actual" draw of approximatley half of the advertised watts....a 400W headliner that consumes 180 to 200W. It won't cost a lot different. Go branded...Mars, etc. You won't look back after that.

Try a Bossled 900W bloom buster, they pull 220W, and are under 125. I just did a grow, and adverge .64 grams per watt.

Definitely think it's nute burn. Doors are open when the lights are on, with two fans blowing in different directions. I only close the doors for the 12 hours of dark, but I still keep a fan on so that the air is at least moving. Hoping to be able to invest in a grow tent and ventilation system in a couple months, but for now this is as much as I can afford. :/
Thanks! I'll look into those when I go to buy another light. Do you think the cheap one I got is ok for vegging or seedlings?

what ive done is put 2 screws up on the inside of the doors and ive attatched a cloth, a bed sheet will do, to act as a second door, stops light from coming in as i leave door open 1 inch when lights are off, i noticed when i kept the door closed fully during lights off, when i would open it i could smell the dampness and got scared i might get mold. as long as you dont have direct light on on her its all good

Thanks for the tip! I've been pretty paranoid about letting any light at all seep in there when they're sleeping. I even have a thick blanket nailed up over the door to cover the cracks. I had three plants when I started flowering and one turned hermie, so that made me even more paranoid. Considering how poorly my first grow is going anyway, maybe I'll leave the door open a little and just leave the blanket up?
Phew... Not sure what I'd do with the darn thing if I couldn't use it even for veg. Mood lighting? lol
