    Default Bud bowl trimmer advice

Hi guys. Know we all know how hard the trimming part is especially when you've got a few plants too do.
I seen these bowl trimmers but read some good and bad reviews.
Some say it weakens the weed and the leaf trim shake is hopeless after cause it knocks loads of the trics off.
    Any advice guys.

This comes up often... many people have bought the bowl trimmers, used them once & went back to hand trimming....

I used mine once and never again. Way too harsh on the buds. Save your cash

Ok what about them trim bags or the table top trimmers. They any better.
They cost about £200 tho. I think that's a high price especially for the bag type.

Thanks for the advice. I don't know if I'm just real slow but too trim up one plant and make a nice job it takes me like 4 hours.
And I couldn't do two plants a day.

No personal experience with either, sorry mate. Trimming scissors, coffee and numerous spliffs/bong rips is all I use now

Spread it out over a couple of days then? Pain in the ass, like I said, but worth it in the end!

I'm also one that has a trimming bowl, used it once and now it's sitting gathering dust.

I find breaking the harvest up over a few days helps. I'll take off all my large fan leaves and hang the whole plant for a couple of days then go back and trim some branches off and trim them one at a time. Keeps yo drying process nice and slow as well.

My last harvest Is sitting in jars untrimmed. I just did not have the patience this time. When i go to smoke it i will just pick off any larger leaves. Might as well smoke the sugar leaves. They are covered in trichomes.

I watched a video of the bag. I would rather smoke some leaves then put my hard work through that beating.

Since we are not selling, why does it need to look so perfect? Good smoke and hash and oil is what I am after.

A few hours of scissor trimming will give me a few months worth of hash from the trim. I do not see that happening with any of these gadgets.

An old show like the Simpsons in the background helps the time pass. Just make sure you are setup comfortable before getting to work. You will get faster with practice.
