If its a ring then you have 30/32 amps to play with so a rough 7000 watts for entire upstairs.

Is that enough for the hair dryer, fan heater etc etc plus your grow?

Id just go for quantum boards mate 🤣

Thanks guys. This is for my mate I've help him set up all his gear bit when i seen the single socket i told him I'd have to check to see if it can handle the wattage. Ive got my own grow up in the loft and i spured of a double socket up to there with a double socket. Ive got a heavy duty extension that i cut short so theres no excess wire and in that is my eco fan controller thats got intake oit take and heater hucked up. Also is a oscillating fan in the extension. Then on the free socket i have the timer and a power block thing plugged into that with the two 600s connected to that so both lights come ond go off at the same time. Im always feeling it for excessive heat and its always cold. Now for my mates i thinks his upstairs and downstairs is just one main even the boiler. All on a 32a fuse.

The power block you mention. Are you talking about 1 of these.

Have you worked out if your on a ring? What size breaker do you have in the fuse board for that upstairs circuit ?

As millwall says only you know what else is being powered upstairs

This is actually where smart meters come in very handy
