Germinating Fruit Auto Nothing Happening

I have 2 Fruit Auto seeds in wet paper towel in dark location. Previously between 20 and 22c, now 18c. These seeds have been in position since 4th September and nothing much is going on. Does this mean they are dead or should I do something else?

One has split and the tiny taproot is visible, but has not emerged. The other is unchanged.
