    Question Pot Storage

    Hi,
Allow me show my ignorance here....Just about how long will smoke last with potency if it is kept sealed in glass, in the dark, and at a constant temp?

Hi. If the jar is truly airtight and you use a humidipak to maintain proper humidity it will get better with age and last many years. My oldest jar is 2.5 years now and tastes and hits wonderfully.

Yip, keep your weed in airtight (Kilner jars are my fav) with a 62% RH and you can cure for years. I have kept back samples from every grow I have done.

According to boveda, 62% is optimum for vaping and the next one down, 58% is perfect for doobies

Well. I , again, thank you for the information...It proved itself again last night...I opened a qt. of Train Wreck..It didn't seem to live up to it's reputation when I tried it 5 months ago, so I shelved it in disappointment...Last night,I was actually having trouble walking. --Watching the tube was actually interesting for a change....Boy!---I AM a fan of curing!!

Depends on how large of a container. I am good with 3 oz and a large 62% for a few years. Slightly moist but not enough to grow mould. I like that my fat cigars burn slow.
