Default What do you stick over your pipes?

    Another couple of quick questions.

What do you put over the end of your intake ducting to stop dust and nasties getting in? I'm using 4" ducting btw.
I read somewhere a pair of tights works but our lasses legs aren't that big

Next one, venting into the chimney, do you cover the end of the pipe which goes up into the chimney?
Our has a cover thing on top of the chimney so is there a need?
    Let's get it on!

Slap this on . They are furnace filters you can custom cut yourself with scissors .they work great . Available at any hardware store . For a few bucks .

Slap em on your intake and wrap em around your carbon filter

Seen people using air filter that you see on cars the cone type one. Might be designed specifically for growing though not just pulled out a motor lol. I use a pair of tights pulled over a louvre vent fitting lol.

I've used women's tights before but I use an old filter now. Acts as a controller at the same time

May I suggest you search for PC fan dust filters - they work really well.

Tight work good. Tested under a microscope and the holes are a lot smaller than the spider mites i had running across them

Yeah I was thinking the same after Trex suggested the furnace filter stuff. Think I should be able to scrounge something from work.
