Suggested flowering times and nutrient schedules

Little unsure of this so want to find out the correct and definitive answer.

i know they are only guidelines and external gactorss can alter the flowering times that certain strains are suggested having. But when following nutrient schedules do they consider week 1 as the first week that follows flipping your lights to 12/12 or the first week following seeing that they have entered the flowering phase by showing visible signs?

So so tomorrow It will be exactly 4 weeks since I flipped, but only about 2 or so since they started to show signs. Am I following the feeding schedule as per week 2 or 4?

the first day of flower is the day you start 12-12
so you are on week 4 of the feeding schedule,

true flower is for finishing times rather than the feeding schedule,


it's best to add the additional days as the flush at the end since it's 10-14 days

lets say the breeders say it's done in 70 days,
i add the 10-14 days flush ontop so it's now finished on day 84

it's always best to give them an extra 10-14 days
it allows for the flushing and onset of flowers

Ah I’m with you now 👌🏻 I don’t actually follow the suggested finishing times I let the plants tell me when they are ready to flush but I just didn’t know about the feeding schedules mainly.

i have a smaller veg space & bigger flower space, so it's best i have a rough week finish, usually day 60-90 of 12-12
indica always finish quicker so i can pop new seeds faster
