Default Heat from Mars Hydro 600w

Hi, currently running 1x 600w mars hydro and a cheap Chinese LED (advertised 600w but clearly pulls way less) in my tent for 8 plants in veg. The tent is in a basement with no ventilation therefore I am struggling to keep temps down. Currently running 24/0 and hovering around 27c with tent door open (which I know is fine for now).

I need to buy another LED ASAP as I plan on flowering in a week or so but am obviously worried about temps shooting right up. I have purchased an air cooler of amazon (link below) will this be enough to cool my room with 2x mars hydro 600w in there do you think?

    NO LINKS PLEASE!

If not, can you suggest the most cost friendly alternative please? Would I be better of buying a more expensive air cooler or different LED?

    Cheers

Have a look at our sponsors lighting @invisible_sun_led_uk

Those old mars hydros are very inefficient

Thanks. Have had a look on there but I’m ideally looking to spend under £150.

Do you think the air conditioner would be enough to keep my temps down with another mars hydro

Edit: or perhaps if I brought 2 mars hydro 300w, would that produce less heat but st8ll produce the same level of lighting?

The initial led cost may be more but consider the lighting to be almost twice as efficient so you need much less

The purchase of the air-conditioning and ongoing running costs will far outweigh the cost of the new LEDs.

I appreciate what your saying but I’m not in the position to spend any extra cash at the minute. The extra electricity bill spread out over the next few months will be more manageable. Cheers
