Is your oscillating fan pushing smell out your vents?
It's Not What You Know, It's What You Can Prove

i have my vents open but with cooker carbon filter over them, long as theres a strong neg pressure you shudnt be gettin any leak unless its coming from ducting?

i dont even have take the carbon cooker filter over vents coz the neg pressure keeps them stuck there lol

if the fan isnt pulling hard enough because of the number of filters thisll cause said filters/charcoal to not work properly from what ive read, same for pulling too hard, you need to make sure its all balanced/matched .
if its been working fine then its either a pinhole/tear somewhere or a filter is dying.
no mention of what filters are but if theyre cheepos then having several still wont be as effective/long lasting as one decent filter.

ill also add if you are getting a slight whiff of weed, then "others" will get it a lot stronger as youll have become used to the smell somewhat.
needs to done properly ,its critical really, smell is the greatest giveaway to a grow.

I pretty much have always had the same problem, come flower time im in a constant battle with smells. I use a 4'' Rhino pro carbon filter and have recently bought a new more powerful fan. No matter what i try,it still ends up reeking.....I have negative pressure, there seems to be no problem/holes in my tent etc, ive taped the ducting to within an inch of its life! But still get smells. The filter isnt even a year old yet either. Obviously after Ive opened the tent the smell is stronger but it never seems to go fully and from where the air blows out,it doesnt seem to smell there either, its fkn weird! I will try a new filter soon to see if it makes any difference.

Id pin it down to a worn out carbon filter or faulty carbon media .

Cant remember wich brand but many peeps have troubles with them new out of the box .
