    Default Cannabis leaves problem

    Hey guys,
New here but used the site forum for information so far and looking for a little help as have searched but whatís been suggested I have already done.

I have 4x big bud x white widow and 1x Red dragon by barneys farm currently 4 weeks veg and the serrated edges of the leaves are curling up.

Going to kind of say the whole set up as Iím stumped now, In the groom itís 25c and 55% RH controlled by an ecotechnics fan controller, 600w hps in cooltube with reflector and oscillating fan blowing over plants, 8Ē exhaust and 6Ē intake, the plants are in 11L smart pots in plant magic soil using the plant magic range (grow, bloom, bio-silicone and magne-cal) have only just started using the nutes at a 1/4 strength, using the bio-silicone at 0.5ml and used the magne-cal (3ml) as a foliar feed once in veg at 3 weeks and will use again in flower about 2 weeks in, I water every 4 days roughly or when the top inch of the soil dry/light to pick up.

If Iíve missed anything you need to know let me know, thanks in advance.

with the hps i can't see exactly what's wrong,
slight leaf curling is probably wind burn, i point my fan at a wall not directly at the plants

Very odd. Looks like heat stress. Your temps say otherwise.

Is your fan blowing near the probe/sensors and effecting correct read maybe ?

Itís Iíd say about a meter and half away on the lowest setting so wouldnít have thought it would be affected that much but il definitely try positioning the fan static at a wall rather than oscillating around the whole room, thanks for the advice

Maybe you should buy 2 more hygrometers since you only have 4. AND helped me with this when it happened to my plants and I did some research.

Leaves curling up are trying to protect themselves from too much light. Yours are older than mine were. There's an intricate balance between light, heat, humidity and nutrients.

    http://www.just4growers.com/media/23631/vpd_2degree.gif

That's my ultimate guide to try to be in balance. If you dont have the correct humidity x temp your plants aren't going to be exchanging nutrients as well. This will slow down the growth and decrease the photosynthesis. Thus decreasing the light demand.

So use the chart and regulate humidity x temp. Cannabis can be really fiddly and different strains react differently.

Leaves curling up like that won't reverse itself when you correct, but the new growth will be normal.

Finally, this is merely a symptom of a not very dangerous condition.

Let me simplify cause I was way too wordy. You probably want to be in the low yellow area. So increase the temp or decrease humidity, whichever is easier for you.

Just looked at your chart in depth and noticed the key up the top right as indicators for where I want to be during which stage the only thing puzzling me is when you mentioned I need to be at the lower yellow range but the key says this is the range for mid/late flower and I’m only 4 weeks in veg, so my temps at 25 and rh at 55% looks like it’s in the perfect range on the chart could you clear this up a little for me please spdrjeff cheers mate
