    Default Buds smell and taste like hay - first grow/harvest

    Harvested last week friday. Been about 6 days. Now in jars. buds turned crisy but stems dont snap put into jar but cut up buds with the stem/stalk attached into jars and burping every 6-8hours.

    Buds hardly smell dank.. smell like hay and taste is very bland hay like..

    What do i do? i have ordered humidipacks*

    what temp & humidity where they dried at?
    did you point a fan directly at the buds and dry em too quick?

    that hay taste is usually a result of drying too quickly

    as they cure the chlorophyll will break down and they'll smell better in 3-4 weeks hopefully

    first day or 2 was 24C with 60-70RH
    then 19-21C with 50-60 RH (next day or 2)
    then cripsy and put into jars..
    fan was blowing on the side of the tent under buds

    Sounds like they dried to quickly to me brother, can i ask what Rh readings were you getting when you first jarred up and what are they now ??? all the best G'.

    put a bit of potato peal in the jar for a day wont affect taste. should bring the moisture content back into the dud buds
    skin it roll it lick it twist it.

    As above but I’ve always used apple or a fruit that could already enhance the flavour it’s supposed to be 😃🇬🇧
