    Is it knackered already?

    I can't get it to calibrate at 2 points, 7 and 4

7 normally stays at 7.0 but the first time you check 4 you get 4.2

    If you "calibrate " 4 to 4.0 then 7 goes to 6.8

Not way off but, you know

Thanks mate, I'm glad mine still calibrates well at 7. Since our ranges are closer to 7 than 4 I guess thats best anyway.

Just had the same issue with my Blue lab. Calibrates to 7 but error message on 4. Weird.

i found my calibrations used to need time allowed to adjust the sensors etc to room temps and calibration liquid temps etc.

"used to" as i havent used them for a year+,i dont need anything measuring like that anymore for soil grows.just temps n rh now.

wavering readings have always been the sensor end being dirty or indeed dying in my gear some have even become cracked over time and hence time for new ones.

or perhaps the batteries needed changing, less than optimal power will make things unreliable n most batteries are now chinesee made so we know their reliability record .
