    Default Damn the rot

I'm 3 days into flushing of a Humbolt Black Dog from seed. It is quite possibly the best plant I have ever grown it looks beautiful. however one of the big colas has rot! devastated!

Do I chop her off and hope for the best or leave it to go worse?

Get a bag over it, turn off your fans, and get her out, you don’t want the mould spores spreading. Tragic mate, you got some pics?

I feel your pain, been there done that plenty..Cut it ASAP, it spreads very fast and you don't want anything to do with mold going into the lungs

Some people make oil with bud rotted buds, imo, any sort of shit like that, needs to just be chucked mate. No oil, no hash. Nothing. I’ve heard that when Cali first legalised and they started testing shit, 90% of the oil had mold spores in it! Only 7% now it’s better regulated.

Don’t use it at all, it’s not worth the health risks

Honey or golden syrup if you have any, it’ll help heal it, and stop any spores getting into the plant

Exactly. Mould is dangerous and rot is toxic.
