I'm having an operation in mid-November and am shitting it.
It's quite an invasive one (albeit keyhole) and is on my throat (non-life-threatening illness and all that) and through core muscles - whatever they are.
Anyway, the point is as per the first line, which is, I'm incredibly nervous about it. Worst nightmare scenario and all that. (Think, I don't know, spiders in a dropping lift...or watching Scottish football or something - that sort of horribleness ;-) )
So to cut a long story short, what's the best prep other than "don't think about it" which isn't really working.
"Shut up and get on with it" or is there something I'm missing?
And is it ok to ask nurses to airdrop nudes?
