Default Can pin down what this might be

Soil or hydro or coco: Coco Coir

    Strain: Strawberry Stardawg

    Photo or Auto: Photo

    plant age: 3wks into veg

    pot size: 14litre

has it been repotted? and when?: Yes, 4 wks ago

    soil type: Coco

nutes or additives used and how often for soil: Samurai A&B/Samurai Calmag/Samurai Silicon/Samurai Katana Roots

    Air temps (max min): 26min/37max

    Res temps (max min):

humidity: as low as 37% (Can't afford a decent humidifier)

lighting type and wattage (hps, led, cfl): 2x600w HPS (got a 2.4x1.2x2.0 tent growing 8 of the same strain)

    Light schedule:16/8

ph level: base pH of 7.1, dropping it down to 5.8 before adding nutes

    EC 1.4

    Background EC. 0.4

feed schedule and nutes: feeding 2litres daily, getting a lot of runoff but I'd rather a lot of runoff than not enough

The plant pictured is the one that started showing these signs at first but now others are showing the early stages as well, started just as yellowing/browning at the tips and has spread as seen in the pics, the leaves are also looking somewhat malformed and not anywhere as uniform as the other girls I'm growing. I fully flushed the plant pictured with regular water and then flushed with 1/4 strength feed as I initially thought I was dealing with nute burn, the weird thing is that up until now I've only been taking my nute mix up to an EC of 1.1 before now out of fear that I'd be giving the girls too much if I went any higher however after speaking to a couple of guys at my local b&m they've said that they go up to an EC of 1.5 with no problems growing the same strain so I'm at a bit of a loss at the minute!

Any help would genuinely be appreciated, we've taken to calling this one Mary Jane so we don't want to lose her

    Cheers guys

Unless it's a clone that others are running too, don't worry about comparing your EC. I've have a background EC of 0.5 & have had plants that wouldn't go over 0.8 (0.3 over back ground)

Everything you say above is a little text book... so let's throw the text book out the window for a little bit... measure the EC of your run off - I think you will find it higher than your feed... if so, this suggests that you are feeding the plant at a rate that she just can't handle

I was under the impression you couldn't really overwater Coco because of it's composition and properties? This is my first time running Coco so it's a totally new experience for me

The girls I've got are clones and as far as I know the ones the chaps at the b&m are running clones as well, this is where all my confusion is coming from as I've read as much as I can on growing in Coco on this forum and I've been trying to stick to the guides but the b&m are suggesting some pretty conflicting things

I'll definitely check the EC of the runoff tomorrow though and get back to you asap, if it is stupid high then should I step it back to 1.0 and go from there?

    Cheers

If the EC is stupid high, flush & start again at about 50% of where you left off & we'll work from there

I mix my nutes in batches of 100litres so would it be safe for me to drain half of what I have left, top it back up and then bring the pH back to 5.8, or would the pH down solution interact with the nutes?

You can definitely overwater coco. You don't want it to fully dry but definitely dont want to keep it waterlogged. Plant look drowned. MC will take care of your EC.
