Are the nutes very old? If they smell like ammonia in the bottle then I believe they have gone bad. At least this is what I was told.

I believe that means it needs a turn or sift.

Exactly what she needs. A good forking. Gotta break down the N with some oxygen. No more green until the smell dissipates. Gotta let it balance.

the bottle recomends 40ml per feed, so i figured 3ml would be a small enough,

40ml into 10lt is it? or 40ml into what amount? you might have added heavy strength feed into a heavily prefertilized soil that probably didn't need it
where the lower leaves yellowing and new growth going very pale green? the sign in soil they need feeding

id feed only water until they go green vs dark green black, as said it's just locking out everything

only time i ever smelt amonia in a indoor soil pot was from me overwatering and that was killing the roots/soil due to no oxygen,
smell went away when i corrected 4he wet/dry watering

I think its 10 ltr yes, the bottle I use holds 5 ltrs and i do half of it so 3ml to 2.5 ltrs usually . and you are right, this black magic soil is very heavy in fertilisers, the only signs of hunger was the magnesium problem, back then i just thought she needs nutes didn't think about mg def .

no more nutes for now yes.

I let her go pretty dry before feeding, sometimes the water runs through instantly when i water which I'm guessing is too dry?
