    Default Help! What is the maximum ammount of 43 watt CFLS for one plant?

    I need to know what is the max ammount of wattage i can use for a 3 week old weed plant. Right now i have two 43 watt cfl on them right now, but i have an extra 43 watt and 23 watt cfl and a 100 watt led and a 23 wat led. Let me know what you think i should use or not use thank

    why dont ya scrap all these crappy cfls/mini leds an bang a hps over it instead in about a week

    best way to work it out is by grow area size
    you want a minimum of 50w per square foot, more optimal is 75w psF

    so a metre square tent needs around 450w but more optimal is a 600w

    Ok well i will just add the extra 3rd 43 W cfl so 129 watts all together for the one plant and see how that does. Do you guys think that is too much?

    IMHO 100w is the bare minimum that you should be giving a single plant.... & with CFL I would question if that were enough...
