    Question S1 strains ?

Hi all been looking at some gg#4 s1 seeds
I’ve been reading on how they create an s1 seeds by crossing a plant with its self by range of techniques aimed at reversing the sex of the selected female plant, getting it to produce male pollen and using it to pollinate itself.

I’m not very clued up on this but To me these sound like they would be prone to hemie? Can anyone with knowledge advise me pls

You sprays female with colidal silver... something like that I forget the exact name, and it’ll make the female grow male parts. That way you can make fem seeds.

There are a few threads about it on the forum, do a search

If done correctly and the beans/plants ya start with have good genes/genetics you shouldn’t have a problem. There’s a recently new thread with someone doing this and a legend of a grower ( Dexter) is helping him . Find this thread follow Dexter’s advice and ya won’t go far wrong 🇬🇧
