The one thing I remember from when I set up was to have the fan before the cool tube as otherwise you are pulling hot air through the fan which may make the fan fail prematurely

Anyway, if you are using a cool tube on a 250w HPS it suggests you are growing in a small space... I know quite a bit about HPS & small spaces, don't be shy to PM me any questions

Since my 4 AK48 autos are 130cm talls and having a height problems, then is this a ok temporary solutions ... I was thinking to connect the below exhaust directly to the 250W HPS cooltube and then the bulb connection stuff is very near to this exhaust ... maybe this exhaust will be melting or not so hot? I don't know, I havent used HPS before.

P.S. Honestly the tallest is 130cm ... 2 others are about 110cm and 1 is 60cm. Maybe to throw away this 60cm one and then bend the tallest one? If the tallest one (2 month old) will be just 15cm away from the light, then may come problems?

Right! I see your issues now

TBH, I'd stick with the CFLs until harvest & then redesign the room...

Adding an HPS now isn't really going to make the difference that you are hoping for

Why not making the difference? I was thinking that if I will add the HPS, then quicker grow + bigger buds also?

Half the trouble will be the stretch that they have gone through with the CFL. Adding a 250w HPS just isn't going to hit the bottom of the plants & I'd hate for you to feel 'robbed'

Super cropping would have been the answer but, as a HST technique, we are past the point in flowering that we want to try things

The plants would be much more shorter if used HPS dual spectrum and then super HPS?

I think I will still try the HPS, because the main point is to get to harvest eariler ... havent smoked pretty long time. What do you think, the temps would not an issue if I would switch to this 250W HPS cooltube? At the moment, with these 4x45W soft whites, temps are 23C.

    It's a tricky one mate...

Yes the plants would be shorter with HPS (I just use dual spectrum these days) & yes they would produce more with HPS

Will they get to harvest faster with HPS...

So, you have 4 CFL light sources that each consume 45w (or 180w in total) & is it 4 plants? If so, too many plants for your wattage Always think a minimum of 100w per plant... so, what we have is CFL that will struggle with 2 plants or an HPS that will happily do 2 plants but 3 is pushing it too far IMHO....

If it were me then I would lose the extra plants, keeping the two strongest plants, I'd super crop them & keep my fingers crossed... but that is not so good as you could end up hermieing them with no back up
