Topping autoflower yes or no?

I think il leave it for the 2 girls I’ve got at the moment, il obviously LST them for more of a even canopy. I have a C4 baby that’s about a inch or two tall so when she’s ready il give it a go. Hopefully be updating with good news

Im growing 2 auto's at the minute,one ive topped,(first time and will LST her,) and the second one im just LST'ing and see if the grow's differ at all.

Well I didn’t top my 2 girls I’ve got in flower now, only trained and so far it’s looking good. About 12/13 “tops” on the one and about 9 on the other. I’ve also got a C4 that’s about 2 weeks in to veg so I will top this one when the time is right and compare. I know it’s 2 different strains but will still try and compare. Would I still need to train even though I will top her?

Its not a question of needing to train. Its about maximising light penetration and your available space. No harm in LSt after topping if you want to. Ive grown autos topped and not topped. If the plant is growing fast and strong, generally they will be grand after being topped. It can cause a a bit of shock to weaker plants-which is why some dont like topping autos as they have a set time period for their lifespan.

IF you top, yes i would still train the plant with some LST.
