I was quite shocked when I saw the state of the water afterwards, if you do choose to go that way, make sure you get at least distilled water to wash them with

I was told, and have read that you should not use neem oil after 2nd week of flower. I'm in week 5..

Spraying the medium a couple of times a week, should kill of the larvae stage, you just have to stay on top of it. Let the top few centimetres of the medium dry out, the eggs live there, and when dry will die off and not hatch. Also get yellow sticky traps put up to catch any flying ones before the lay eggs.

Doing that for a couple weeks should see them gone mate. Turn the fan up a bit too, they don’t like the breeze. You could, if you feel like it’s necessary get the neem oil mix said above, and paint the leaves so you don’t get anything on the buds. It’ll take fucking ages, but it’ll get the plant covered. Make sure you get underneath and on top of the leaves.

With neem oil mate, you don’t have to spray the plants. Neem oil is like a nerve agent. The smell of it fucks with insects brain functions. Stop them shitting, eating, breeding, they’re just too fucked up to function. So spraying the medium give the smell off, whilst killing anything in the medium too. At the same time not harming your plants..., neem oil is the shit man lol

Also, 10ml dish soap, 5ml neem oil, to litre of water. Neem oil solidifies under 18c so warm it up so it’s Luis before getting the five ml good luck mate, keep us informed
