    well today i did a trip out n got drawn into the hardware store! in the bargin section they had these !
    will go on tappa to upload in a sec!.......... see second post

    now i only spotted the T8 after i snapped the pic but was wondering if these would do any good for a wee veg tent or would i have to switch out the bulbs for T5s

  2. "T5 & T8 are mainly tube sizes, its the lumens and kelvin rating that matters. Daylight bulbs are around 2000 lumens & 6000K. Ideally, this is where you want to be, the bottom pics are 4000K, cant tell on the rest

    T5 & T8 are mainly tube sizes, its the lumens and kelvin rating that matters. Daylight bulbs are around 2000 lumens & 6000K. Ideally, this is where you want to be, the bottom pics are 4000K, cant tell on the rest

    the first pic are the same bulbs mate didnt grab a pic tho!

    so for a small 1x1x1m box for veg these should do the trick?edit just seen the 6000k ideal

    yeah t5s in veg seem to be the way to go for maximum yield,
    been contemplating building a budget t5 veg tent n splitting my extraction to both tents, may just be an idea for now tho!
