    if i built a growbox to indoor grow what would be a decent fan to use with the filter please? i was looking at extractor fans for bathrooms etc with ducting .. something like these ....

    would they be man enough to use with a carbon filter ???

    Not really mate, not enough push for a filter, I use one for an intake. 4" RVK or something similar, Feebay used, they run at about £35-40, new about £55

    What’s size is the groom mate? A 4 inch bathroom extractor will work fine on a small tent, or grow space. A four inch would usually be used in a 60cm x 60cm x 120cm tent. So if your size is similar or smaller than that you’re good.

    thanks for the help lads ... im hoping to make up a box about 5 foot tall .... 2 foot wide and 2 foot deep just for 3 or 4 plants at a time ....

    You will be looking at a 4" fan/filter for that size & 3/4 plants will be too many. 2 autos or one photoperiod would be better suited

    Doubt it mate, I'm using a black orchid fan and it can still struggle with my 250W light.
    I think if you're gonna do it, it's worth doing properly or it could cause all sorts of issues.
