    Default New tent, small problem

Bought a new tent today in my local grow shop. Its a Black Box Silver brand. 60x90x180cm. Never heard of them. Seems a bit cheap.

Anyway, its all set up, but the door is perplexing me. Its one of the oval shaped front opening doors, but the zip, for some reason starts at the back of the left wall of the tent. Meaning to open the front, i have to pull the tent slightly out from the wall and unzip the whole left side and front together? Its like the door opening zip is all part of the zip system for removing the tent cover itself.

The instructions it came with seem to be for another tent with a straight double zip running down the front-so thats no use . Tried to take pics to show what i mean, but they may not explain enough..

Please excuse the incredibly grotty room...The rest of the house is nice ;D

Side area(The zip continues to the back visible corner there. Instead of stopping at the front.)

Just a single zipper too? That makes it a ball ache

I thought i made a mistake. If i turn it upside down, then the door would be manageable. But then the vents would be wrong, and the logo would be upside down, so i didnt put the cover on upside down

You could always stitch the last couple of inches shut - Whilst you shouldn't have to, you need to look at options... unless returning it is one....

Im not returning it. Stitching the side is a good idea. Time to get my girlfriend to get her sewing machine out

Bought a new extractor too-its far quieter than my other one, which I AM returning tomorrow

You thought about adding another zipper to it? According to Google it's pretty easy to do. I'd be sabotaging old clothing till I found one the right size and giving it a go

New zippers are often as expensive as the tent itself

Heres the tent without the door. This shows the problem quite well

Probably using the same zip as the next size up... the more zips of the same size, the cheaper per unit
