    I don't mean to piss anyone off but I'm busy reading about this exact subject.

    Red meat uses up the two most important cancer-fighting enzymes (I can't recall the names of them off the top of my head) that cancer patients need to allow their immune systems to fight the cancer. Red meat is definitely not advised during cancer treatment, organic or not. Vegetable proteins don't affect those enzymes, that's why a plant-based diet is preferable during cancer treatment. Meat also ferments in the colon which is counter-productive when treating cancer.

    The original post was about cancer. It has been shown in many studies that red meat is to be avoided at all costs if one has cancer.

    Bad news today apparently it’s spread further and faster than they expected lungs glands throat etc and chemo would probably kill her as she’s weak and frail from other health problems anyway. So yeah thanks again to everyone posting just a matter of quality of life now I guess and loads to think about just from everyone’s input
