Easy way is just to trim them up good, and hang them up in a dark simie dark place, with light breeze on them for 5 to 15 days, then through the buds, into a brown paper bag, and mix them up once daily, and they ready to smoke in a few weeks. There are lots of ways, but this is the faster way.

Hang the plants as a whole before trimming. Then trim once dry. This method works better for me

The best method of drying is the one that allows optimal dry time, allowing good bacteria to breakdown leftovers like chlorophyll in the bud.

Some people like to extend drytime to 7 days, I simply aim for over 3 days as anything less provides noticeably worse tasting buds, this can however completely change with a good cure.

Allot of growers leave all buds attached, me included and do all the trimming then hang the whole plant to dry, this gets you a nice even dry across all buds.

If you've got the time to do a dry trim or maybe have very low humidity conditions in order to get a slow dry you can just hang the whole plant with no trimming until its ready to start curing, this is up to you and just how much you care about the extra boost in quality, I dont do this but if I had the time and abundance of weed to smoke on meanwhile I would....

Basically in short, make sure you extend the dry time past 3 days if possible, dont just cut off, trim and dry small buds, this will end in an inferior end product.

Hello mate, just posted this on another thread, hope it helps.

Hello mate, here is away for you to go that is failsafe and there is no need for meters etc...This applies for small to moderate yields of course. Cut the main branches from the plant, remove large fans and roughly trim, then hang them up in a cardboard box for 5-7 days. Cut the buds from the branches and manicure, then place in brown paper bags for a couple of days with regular turning. Place the buds in the jars and leave sealed, checking every 3hours that they still rattle. If they still rattle after being sealed for 12 then begin burping jars for around 10 mins every 12 hours for around 10 days then leave them sealed. If the rattle lessons, they are not ready so back into the bags for a day or two then test in the jars again. Hope this helps mate.
