Easy way is just to trim them up good, and hang them up in a dark simie dark place, with light breeze on them for 5 to 15 days, then through the buds, into a brown paper bag, and mix them up once daily, and they ready to smoke in a few weeks. There are lots of ways, but this is the faster way.

Hang the plants as a whole before trimming. Then trim once dry. This method works better for me

The best method of drying is the one that allows optimal dry time, allowing good bacteria to breakdown leftovers like chlorophyll in the bud.

Some people like to extend drytime to 7 days, I simply aim for over 3 days as anything less provides noticeably worse tasting buds, this can however completely change with a good cure.

Allot of growers leave all buds attached, me included and do all the trimming then hang the whole plant to dry, this gets you a nice even dry across all buds.

If you've got the time to do a dry trim or maybe have very low humidity conditions in order to get a slow dry you can just hang the whole plant with no trimming until its ready to start curing, this is up to you and just how much you care about the extra boost in quality, I dont do this but if I had the time and abundance of weed to smoke on meanwhile I would....

Basically in short, make sure you extend the dry time past 3 days if possible, dont just cut off, trim and dry small buds, this will end in an inferior end product.
