    Default Freshly germinated seed

Hi all, quick noob question (first of many to follow)
My seed germinated Yay! I've planted her in soil, my question is how much water for this particular stage? Basically stage one of growing, I've watered very little just over the surface so I haven't soaked my pot through its in a 0.7 Lt square pot is this right? Do I keep watering very little just surface deep until she pushes through and pops her first round leaves?

The medium should hold enough moisture mate, and with the dome holding it in, you should be fine. I don’t water mine unless the top of the medium starts drying, and with a dome, that’s unlikely to happen. Just wait, patiently lol

Thank you very much for your reply Macky, Hugely appreciate it, Im starting my journey and Im so Fucking excited lmao
so do I only need to water once the seedling breaks the surface of the soil and starts pushing out its first leaves?, at what point of the plants development should I be watering the pot all the way through? I assume when the first inch or so it completely dry?
To me at least watering seems to be the trickiest part, thanks again.

always water bout 3inches from where the seed pops thu, you dont want water anywhere near the new stem as it gets bigger in size it will need more water, have a read thu some of the completed diarys that matches yer setup n see how they incresease the water, the trick is to water just enough so the roots go searching
skin it roll it lick it twist it.

i only mist the soil at the seedling stage, i also use a very small starter pot 0.25lt
excess water drowns em so i mist only to dampen

In that size pot light watering once a day may be enough or possibly too much. It's best to feel the weight (or actually weigh!) of the pot when the soil is dry, then feel the weight after a good watering, you train your brain to feel if it needs watering then. In a small pot like that it may need watering more often, depending on the heat from the light.

Thanks for the help panic over, she's doing alright as far as I can tell, Just another question to add, are my temps and rh ok? Temp 27/28 rh 35% lights on, temp 23 rh 40-50% lights off, I can raise rh to around 50-65% if I spray the tent walls though that last only for short periods but are my current temps and rh enough?

I may have to get a humidifier I don't currently have one, any suggestions on a suitable one? Don't have much space in my tent however as it's 60x60cm. So I definitely need rh above 60% through veg?

Another question, Nancy( I call her naughty Nancy) has roots coming out the bottom of the pot so do I need to transplant her or can I wait a while longer? I think the roots are there because when I would spray the tent walls I'd spray the saucer she's in as well so they probably came searching for that liquid.
She's 9 days old and from the pictures you can see her size I'm in a 0.7lt pot.
