I want to do some topping is she ready for it yet? Day 19, do you count the nodes starting from the first true leaves? That would make her at 4th node going into 5th, as you see not vertically tall but bushy as hell and she smells LOVELY, I didn't realize they start smelling in veg is that normal? For a few days now she's strong smelling if you get close to her top most leaves.

Using Tapatalk now waaaaaaay easier to upload pictures

Yeah, if you're at 4th, 5th node, she's ready for beheading

Some strains smell more than others but its normal, I have 8 in veg at the moment and the smell is unreal

Checking on her as lights come on I've noticed she has some very white and fury roots poking out the top of the soil, just a couple, what does this mean and what should I do about it? I watered her thoroughly on Friday about 500ml, I've just sprinkled some soil over the protruding roots do I have to repot? I already re potted from 0.7lt to 5lt about 10 days ago

that's a good sign roots across the top, those feed oxygen near the surface matey, no need to worry
the other roots search out water/feed not the top roots

Is it time for a re pot? She's growing over the sides plenty and Bushy sooo bushy, roots are plenty beneath the soil though she's not coming out the bottom of the pot. In a 5lt pot at the moment day 23 topped 4 days ago. She'll go into a 15lt pot next would she be able to stay in that size pot through to harvest? I intend to veg into Jan so another 3/4 weeks before flower.

Ive ordered a 30lt pot, Ill transplant into the 15lt now and then 30lt just before flower. Onestopgrowshop is offering a free gift with every order until christmas
Does she look alright for 23 days? shes very bushy and compact, compared to most pictures I see on here others have tall skinny plants, could it be my lights are too strong so she isnt stretching upwards? Im using invisiblesun led 135W on max 26" height.

Looking good mate, i think when theyre vegged under LED they stay shorter than with MH/HPS. Cant be certain without looking but im sure Irons are tight between the nodes too

That's not right, no plants send roots to the surface to find oxygen, plants get oxygen from air in soil particles and ALL roots should stay underground looking for moisture.
