    Default Canna balm decarb?

Hi all, I had an OZ of below par bud so decided to make cannabalm with coconut oil.

I looked up how to make it and used the method of adding 16oz of coconut oil to 1 OZ of bud and put in my slow cooker for 8 hours then strain through cloth.

I then read another recipe last night that said to decarb it in the oven 1st!!!!!
I know you should decarb for edibles but what about for topicals? I'm gonna be so pissed off if I've wasted a whole OZ of bud on this.

Heres one of the jars of my finished balm.

8 hours in the slow cooker would have most likely decarbed it. I'm not sure how hot a slow cooker gets though, not my domain lol
You can still decarb after mixing it, if you really want to make sure. Pop it in the oven for an hour at 100C in a deep-ish dish so you don't lose much to evaporation. Give it a stir every ten minutes or so. Even for topicals, I prefer it to have THC.

    I second that.

What is your recipe for the balm? I use a 2:1 ratio of oil to beeswax.
