    Default White powder on soil

    Could just be salt build up.

    Nah it’s defo mould. Soil it kept too wet with no good air flow over it. It’s not really bad, as long as it stays in the soil. And you’ve got enough microbes n shit living in there to keep it down, but it’s risky if it gets on the plant.

    I’d let it dry out a little before watering again, it’ll die off then

    I was going to say soil looked too wet after I posted my answer. also not like salt build up I've seen. Definitely mouldy looking. Thanks for posting the correct answer Mackay.

    I would say good guess in that case, as I'd say mould from too damp soil also
