    Default Airpots with soil?

A bit bored so I was trawling fleabay as you do and saw some airpots for a decent price.
As normal reading threads all over the internet give differing opinions, some say soil and airpots are great, others say a complete waste of time.
    So what do you think?
I currently have normal 11 litre round pots for my autos btw.
    Let's get it on!

    Each to their own mate.
But me, solid pots for soil, airpots for coco. I've used the fabrics aswell with both soil and coco but didn't get on with them. 👍🏻

Yer airpots are no good for soil. The water will make channels in the soil and it won’t saturate properly. Airpots for coco

Some growers make airpots and soil look easy.. I found it difficult to water properly.

As above airpots for coco. Standard or Wilma pots for soil

Wilmas ftw...for soil anyway...water stays in the medium until the bottom...easy to attach training wire...easy to clean when chopped

I found my first run with soil n airpots a nightmare . Buut i got hang of it . Trick is not to let the medium dry ot as much as with standard pots .

Best you pot up from a 3gal to the airpot 2 weeks before flower .then flip after shes settled . If rootz are hittin airpot wall that peat based mix is hyxrophibic and can be a nightmare to water 🤣🤣

all i ever use is airpots and soil, work fine for me,i think theyre brilliant

ive tried the cloth type, didnt like them personally but each to their own.

mind i just grow grow,i dont do origami or torture nor circus dirt, simply seed in soil, water in,bud out.

you do have to get a grip on how to water them etc,(iere-wet them, leave few minutes and water normally),and the soil does need to right ratio of perlite also the soil needs to be packed "just right" not hammered in

like trex says, peat soil will still cause problems but its just a new learning curve ,i dont use peat if i can help it. away from using peat now,for all sorts of reasons.

im an idiot and can use them no problems,my bud may not look pretty but it kicks my arse and its only my arse its got to kick so result

I’ve been using air pots with soil for the second time and it’s a pain in the arse. Back to plastic square pots next time.
