Default Time to Transplant ?? Stunted growth ?

Hello Guys, new grower here. I have a small indoor set up but using soil. This little guy was just transplanted today but it is about 3 weeks old. After some quick research i think it is too little. Did I wait too long to transplant ? Have I stunted it's growth ?

    thanks

What type of soil is that? Is it just dirt from outside? Looks too heavy and compacted. Roots might be having difficulty growing in their.

Nah. That would not be the issue in my opinion. Taking too long to transplant has never stunted growth for me. 31c is a bit on the warm side but should be fine at this young age. I dont think the high temps would be stunting her. 1000w is a lot of light. Is that actual draw? How far from the plant?

Can you get some perlite to mix in with the garden soil? Cannabis like a loose and light soil that does not compact.

Hey brother nice to meet ya.

So first you didnt kill your plant by waiting to transplant your photo plant. The plant in the pic was kept in that solo cup for 3 weeks and is doing fine now.

Id take the advice on perlite for future grows I dunno how replanting this one would go though.

LED lights have a actual power draw and an equivalent rating. The 1000w is the equivalent not the actual. When we talk about power we are mostly interested in the actual. It should say it on the box or in the item description from were you bought it. Id assume its around 300w.

Hey guys thanks for the feedback, she is doing ok I believe.

I was wondering if I should trim the lower branches and get some clones or just leave her since she is my first grow. She is 5 weeks old in veg and would like to start flowering in about 3 weeks.

Thank you and any feedback is welcome.

Hey man. I would hold off on the clones for now and let her grow. You topped and that's good. There should be some lower side branches later. Those are the ones to take.

She's looking very healthy and happy. Since she's a photo, you can decide when to flower her. I think she's going to have a while though.

    Cheers and Merry Christmas

What Jeff said. You can take clones well into flower. If you let those nubs you want to trim in veg go a bit they will stretch and you wont be trying to root 3 inch cuttings like my dumb ass did. ☺
