The single row 4 footers are 50w per strip so need 6 to 8

All depends on what you can get hold of

the 2ft would probably fit better, because as you can see from picture my fan is in the centre and I can fit strips either side where if I use the 4ft strips I will have a gap at the back approximately 8".

We can use 2 footer and 4 footers so you can get around the fan issue. Or just use 2 footers.

Stick with those part numbers I gave you. Here are 2 foot part numbers

Low power (25w)

High power (50w)
3000K: SI-B8V521560WW

3500K: SI-B8U521560WW

Compare the price of 2 x 2 ft Vs 1 x 4 ft and that may help you decide

How many strips would I need of both and then I can compare price.
