    Hello mate

Before I make a purchase on a new light I’d like to make sure I’m spending my money wisely. We've been through this I’m sure but thought il double check

    40 x 40 x 140 Tent
    Current Light 600w meizhi

Im looking to get away from fan cooled leds. Silence is key. A small build is an option but I’d prefer off the shelf ready built for ease ?

Hi mate, shit best do my homework on this one :-)

How much height do you normally have to play with, with the type of plants and techniques you employ when fully grown?

A tricky one to answer. Based on my usual strain no more than 0.8m from floor to plant top. I can restrict height quite easily by topping at a different node and resticting the pot size... Whats the ideal distance I need for a qauntum board type light?

Also could you provide me with a light recomendation for a 75 x 40 x 165. Would an invisible sun fit nicely? This could be plan B if you think the 40 x 40 above will prove difficult for a qauntum board

So for the smaller space I think a single 288 led board would go in there running at 125w-150w. This would produce a dense 200g photoperiod, pro rata for an auto

I currently use a 150ish tallish space and I'm fine with my lights at full power at 15 inches ( as pic )

The second space gives more height option but is only just larger. You could squeeze double 288 in there and run a 250w light. I need to measure my light when I go to my groom in minute bear with me

All solutions produce zero noise and very low radiant heat. You would need 4 inch extract max for both

What has drawn you to these lights?

There are very premium and high quality builds. Very safe and have multiple certifications. Very well engineered.

The output is 20-30% behind HLG quantum boards for example in terms of per watt.

They are a couple of years old numbers now so need to bear that in mind.

It was the quality of these that drew me to the telos,
What would you recomend for a 2.0 x 1.2 groom also noise is not a problem cheers.

    Hello mate

Under hps I would use 2x600 in a 2.0x1.2 so I would recommend 3-4x250 kits from IS , more like 4. Hugely more light than the hps.

Compared to the 2 telos units, you will have way over double the light but will have a bit of DIY and wiring to do.

    Sound advice cheers mate

I think I’m going to go with the 2nd option, the larger space and run x2 autos. Which ISH model do I need? I also notice they have optional K output?
