Does pH down lose potency over time?

I feel like when I first got my (vitalink) ph down a year ago, it was a matter of adding a few drops.
Over time the amount of 'drops' seems to have increased... doubled, maybe. Now I'm full on squirting into the mix.

Is it losing potency somehow?

I know that one time I left it overnight with the lid off... I dunno if that wrecks the stuff... however the potency seemed to be slowly decreasing up til that point anyway.

I don't know if I'm imagining it/theres another variable, or whether my vitalink is just going bad?
If so, would all brands be the same?

I'm using Vitalink at the moment & can't say I notice any change (I've also had the bottle about a year)

Had mine two years . All good 3-4ml does the trick for my 23L res

Phosphoric acid is hygroscopic ( absorbs water ) so it does dilute over time, but not that much if the lid is kept on

Just use more mate
